SEED SOWING ADVICE:

Chaerophyllum hirsutum roseum seed can be sown at any time.

INDOORS: Sow seeds in a punnet using good quality seed raising mix.
Then cover the seed with fine grit or fine river sand to approximately their own depth.

Now place the moist, sown punnet in a well-lit position (not in direct sunlight) in a warm but not hot position.

Temperatures of 5-20 Degrees C. are best for rapid and optimum germination. Higher temperatures may slow germination.

Continue to keep moist by misting from a spray water bottle.

Seeds emerge in approximately 14-30 days, and will probably be staggered in their germination.

If no seeds have emerged in 30 days, then the seeds will benefit form a period of chilling to break their natural dormancy.
So wrap the moist punnet in cling-wrap or a plastic bag.
And place in the fridge (not freezer) for 6 weeks.
Then remove from fridge, unwrap, moisten, and return to the well-lit position.

SEED COUNT: 8 seeds per pack approx.
(We always aim to exceed the seed count and give a generous serve).
