One of the more rare memmbers of the Echinacea family. Earlier blooming, this lovely pale purple pink bloom has long, dramatically reflexed petals that resembles a Hula Skirt. Blooms continue from mid Summer right through to autumn. The orange brown cone in the center attract nectar birds and bees. An excellent cut flower and well known for its medicinal use in boosting the immune system. Enjoys full sun and average to humus rich soil. 75cm H X 60cm W.
Sow seed in late winter to spring or late summer to autumn. Seed prefers a cold spell to germinate well. Sow seed on surface of good quality seed raising mix and press in lightly, do not cover seed as seed needs light to germinate, you may use a very light sprinkling of vermiculite. Keep moist but not wet at all times. Keep at 20-24 degrees C.
