Snowy white, raggedy, frilly flowers cluster atop a neat, tight rosette of grey-green foliage.

Charmingly “bad hair”  flowers

Making a wonderful colour and texture contrast to other flowers and foliage, in their own dainty, dishevelled, “bad hair day” way.
Pink buds and blush red stems add to the sparkle of the great little garden performer.

Dainty show over summer

White Ragged Robin is a summer flower treat, and a neat groundcover of foliage for the rest of the seasons.

Fetching groundcover, edge or pot

Very fetching planted between roses, along an edge, or in a pot.
Where it can be left alone to get on with the job in its own charming, tousled way.

Charming cut for vases & bouquets

Florists are delighted with the good, long strong stems and the branching heads of flowers atop.
Though fine, these charming flowers make wonderful filling for bouquets and vases, and the colour is popular with brides of course.
Their fine filigree appearance makes a great contrast to more solid flowers.

SEED SOWING ADVICE: QUICK & EASY
Suitable for beginners & gardening with kids

Sow directly in the garden in ;late winter and early spring / late summer and autumn.
OR
Sow indoors in spring or autumn, or whenever suitable temperatures can be provided (approx. 15-20°C).

Sow indoors for quick & early plants: First sow the seeds in a punnet on surface of good quality seed raising mix.
Now pat gently into the surface of the mix, to ensure good contact, but do not cover.
Because the seeds need light for germination.

Then thoroughly moisten the punnet by standing it in a shallow water-bath, and allowing the moisture to percolate up to the surface of the mix from below.

Drain and place in a warm, well lit position (but not in any direct sunlight which will dry the seeds too much).

Temperatures of 15-20°C are ideal.
You can use a temperature controlled heat mat if you have one.
Though it is not essential as these seeds are willing germinators.

Continue to keep consistently moist by misting from a spray water-bottle.
Covering the punnet with a clear plastic lid or plastic bag will also help to maintain necessary consistent moisture.

Seeds usually begin to germinate in approx. 10-20 days, given preferred conditions.

Seed Count: 200 seeds per pack approx.
(We always aim to exceed the stated seed count, and give a generous serve).
