Sowing Advice-
Seed can be sown at any time in good quality seed raising mix and cover with mix or grit to 1cm deep. Keep moist in a cold spot outside as paeonies are very slow to germinate, sometimes taking up to two years to appear. Do not use artificial heat as this may kill them. In the first year the seedling just makes an underground root and shoots appearing above ground in the second year. Grow on seedlings in a 75cm pot and plant out in good garden soil the following winter. Please do not discard tray until seedlings appear.
