Amaranthus caudatus ‘Viridis’ Well-grown plants are spectacular bushy half-hardy annuals with large, almost tropical leaves, over and through which the familiar tassels cascade to the ground. Each of these fascinating tassels is a colony of tightly packed, tiny flowers and lasts for many weeks on the plant. H: 60cm W: 30cm approx. Full Sun, Partial Shade
For best results, Amaranthus caudatus ‘Viridis’ seeds are sown directly into the ground where required in the spring. Alternatively, sow in late winter/early spring in gentle warmth, 15-20 degrees C. Prick out into small 3 inch or 7 cm. pots and plant in final position when the plants are established.
