Dramatic feature plant with dark purple leaves. Large domed heads of pink lacy flowers on dark, ribbed stems over summer. 1m. Both foliage and flower heads are a great feature.

SOWING SEED

Sow onto the surface of moist seed raising mixture. Cover seed with 5mm. of mix. 20°C optimum temperature if using a heat mat. Germination takes 2-3 weeks, but some seeds may be slower. After 3 weeks place whole punnet with any remaining non-germinated seeds in polythene bag and keep in fridge for 3 weeks at 4°C, then return to warm conditions. Patience and persistence – do not discard. Germination will be staggered.
