Anemone hupehensis Eugene are large, pale, lilac pink single flowers, held on wiry slender stems in late summer, autumn. Flowers are followed by interesting fluffy seed heads. Prefers moist well drained soil in sun or part shade. Ideal for naturalizing under large deciduous trees, or in a cottage garden. Great autumn colour. 60cm H x 50cm W.
Sow seeds immediately you receive them. These seeds require several months even up to a year in damp compost before they will germinate. Keep seed tray moist in a cold shade house or shady corner. Do not discard as these fresh seeds can be very slow to germinate. Do not use artificial heat bed. If sowing in warmer months 6 weeks in fridge can help the germination process, however, keep moist at all times, but do not saturate.
