SEED SOWING ADVICE: QUICK & EASY
Suitable for beginners & gardening with kids

Scatter directly in garden in winter and spring.
OR
Sow any time indoors when suitable temperatures are available (15-25°C).

Sow indoors for quick plants & early flowers: First sow the seeds in a punnet on the surface of good quality seed raising mix.
Then pat the surface gently to ensure the seeds have good contact with the surface of the mix.
But do not cover the seeds with mix.
Because these seeds need light to germinate.

Now thoroughly moisten the punnet by standing it in a shallow water bath and allow the moisture to percolate up to the surface of the mix from below.

Then place the punnet in a warm, well-lit position (but not in any direct sun).
Temperatures of 15-25°C. are ideal for optimum germination.
You can use a heat mat if you have one, but it is not essential.
A warm spot is sufficient as these seeds are willing germinators.

Continue to keep consistently moist by misting from a spray water-bottle.
Covering the punnet with a clear plastic cover will help to maintain consistent moisture.

Seeds germinate in approx. 10-15 days.

Seed Count: 500 seeds approx. per pack.
(We always aim to exceed the stated seed count and give a generous serve).
