Bright little long blooming star

So ‘Peggy’ (also known as Dwarf Flower of Jove) is valued as a long blooming summer treat.
Because it is covered with loads of such bright flowers right through the summer.
Plus there is the year round decorative value of the tight clump of grey velvet foliage too.

Asset for small spaces

All making ‘Peggy’ a great asset for small gardens, edges, and pretty pots.
She is also very fetching planted between roses, along a path, or between pavers.
Where this tough little star can be left alone to just get on with the job.

Tough & easy to grow

Lychnis flos-jovis nana ‘Peggy’ is also very obliging.
So you can plant her in Full Sun to Part Shade, and she will thrive equally well.

Water-wise & frost hardy

Plus she is a water-wise plant.
So ideal for gardeners with a limit on water or tougher conditions.
And hardy little ‘Peggy’ is robustly frost resistant as well.

‘Peggy’ is easily grown in the garden, low maintenance, and also quick and easy to raise from seed.
In fact she will gently seed herself in the garden, giving you more little Peggys to share with friends.

Evergreen perennial clump or groundcover.
25cm. High in bright bloom x 30cm. Wide of silver felt foliage.

SEED SOWING ADVICE: QUICK & EASY
Suitable for beginners & kids

Sow indoors in spring or autumn / or scatter in the garden.

INDOORS: First sow the seeds in a punnet on the surface of good quality seed raising mix.
Then gently pat the seeds to the surface of the mix to ensure good contact, but do not cover.
Because these seeds need light for germination.

Now place in a warm, well-lit position (not in direct sun).
And continue to keep moist.
Covering with a clear lid helps to maintain moisture.
And you can use a heat mat if you have one, but it is not essential as these seeds are willing germinators.

Temperatures around 20°C. are ideal for rapid and optimum germination.

Then seeds germinate in 10-20 days.

SCATTER DIRECTLY IN THE GARDEN: Seeds can be scattered directly in the garden during spring.

SEED COUNT: 80 seeds per pack approx.
(We always aim to exceed the stated seed count, and give a generous serve).
