SEED SOWING ADVICE:
Sow indoors in spring or autumn.
First rub seeds around in a little dry sand, or between 2 sheets of fine sandpaper, to roughen seed coats. Soak seeds overnight in clean water.
Sow seeds in deeper pots, on surface of good quality seed raising mix.
Cover with 10mm of mix/grit/sand. Keep moist in well-lit but cool position for 6 weeks.
Then wrap moist punnet in cling wrap & place in fridge (not freezer) for 6 weeks.
Remove from fridge, unwrap punnet & return to a cool, well-lit position.
Seeds should germinate in 14-28 days. But patience – do not discard – some seeds may come later.
