Airy branches of rich lilac-purple. Blooms through summer & autumn. Good cut flowers. Hardy & easy to grow. Sun to Part Shade. Drought resistant. Tolerates all soils including sandy, lime & clay. Dry, heat & frost hardy perennial clump. Will also self sow. 1m H x 60cm W.

SEED SOWING ADVICE: QUICK & EASY

Sow directly in the garden in spring or autumn.
OR
Sow indoors in a punnet at any time when suitable temperatures can be provided (20-25°C).

Sow indoors for early plants: First sow the seeds on the surface of good quality seed raising mix.
Then pat gently to ensure good contact with the mix.

And barely cover seed with mix / vermiculite / fine sandy grit, but do not bury deeply.

Now thoroughly moisten the sown punnet by standing it in a shallow water bath, and allowing the moisture to percolate up to the surface of the mix from below.
Mist surface with a fine spray water bottle.

Then cover punnet with black plastic or cardboard.
Because these seeds need dark to germinate.

Place the punnet in a warm place.

Continue to keep the mix consistently moist be misting regularly with the spray water-bottl.

Temperatures of 20-25°C approx. are best for rapid and optimum germination.

Most seedlings should begin to emerge in approx. 10-28 days.

Quickly prick the seedlings out into pots as soon as they have developed their first set of true leaves.

Feed and grow on until they are large enough to go out into the garden.

Seed Count: 150 seeds per pack approx.
