SEED SOWING ADVICE:
Sow at any time of year in punnets indoors / or scatter in garden winter-early spring. Seeds need cold.
Indoors: Sow in punnets on surface of good quality seed raising mix. Cover lightly with mix to same diameter as seed. Keep moist. 18-22C approx. for 2-4 weeks. Then cling wrap punnet & place in fridge (not freezer) for 4-6 weeks. Unwrap & remove to unheated, cool place. Most seedlings should emerge in 5-30 days. But do not discard. Some seeds may come later.
Prick out seedlings as soon as possible to larger pots, as these plants form long tap roots quite quickly (which helps give them their robust hardiness).
Seed Count: 25 seeds per pack approx.
(We always aim to give a generous serve and exceed the count)
